Our values
In Karen Buck MP's word Al-Hasaniya Moroccan Women's Project is exactly what is needed to act as a champion for the needs of Moroccan and Arabic speaking women and their families and to act as a bridge between formal organisations, like the Council, Primary Care trusts, and members of the community.
North Kensington is fortunate indeed to have a group of women who are so committed, active and able and I'm indeed privileged and honoured to have been the Chair of this great organisation that is so small in size yet so big in performance and outcomes. Yet we still have a great deal to do to overcome some of the disadvantages the community faces. Too many people feel unsafe, there are terrible pressures arising from the shortage of housing and we need to do more to make sure young Moroccans and Arabic speaking people get every opportunity to learn and do well in adult life and face today's Political, Economic and social challenges with vigour, imprtiality and a positive attitude. Most of all, be confident, constructive and successful adults for tomorrow.
We thank you for taking time to learn more about our projects. Should there be any more information you require, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0208 969 2292.
It goes without saying that with out the continuous support of our funders we could not serve the various needs of our community and a special thank you to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for their continued support.
