Mental Health Project
Mental Health Project
Women experiencing mental health problems often find their difficulties impact on their daily life. Those from Arabic-speaking communities can also find themselves very isolated, due to the stigma which still exists in the community in regards to mental ill-health.
Older People’s Outreach
Older People’s Outreach
Our service aims to provide information, advice and advocacy on a wide range of issues including health, housing and welfare benefits to these individuals. Referrals can be made to other services such as Social Services and Occupational Therapy, and even by the individual themselves, for those who feel they are vulnerable and in need of assistance.

Learn a second language at the centre by a qualified English teacher provided by NOVA. The sessions are free of charge and are a lifeline to ladies who have no recourse to public funds and therefore can’t access mainstream further education. We also provide free crèche.

Drop-in & activities
We run a weekly drop-in surgery for Arabic-speaking women who live in Kensington and Chelsea and the surrounding boroughs. Women needing help or advice on topics ranging from the types of activities we offer to where they can access specialist support are welcome to come to the centre during this weekly session, without the need to make a prior appointment.
