She spent time with our sewing group, and her support and enthusiasm were truly appreciated. The group really enjoyed having her with us. “Beaten Not Broken”, delivered by Al‑Hasaniya Moroccan Women’s Centre and funded by the National Lottery, offers free, culturally sensitive therapy for women who have experienced emotional or physical abuse. What makes this service truly special is not just the support it provides, but the way it provides it, with warmth, cultural understanding, and genuine community trust.

We were really happy to have Josh Rendall visit Al-Hasaniya. It was a genuinely lovely visit. He took the time to speak with staff and service users, and he showed real interest in the work we do and the women we support. His kindness, openness, and positive energy were felt by everyone.
