How do minorities contribute to the UK society?


The UK has a history of welcoming migrants, refugees, and more generally celebrating immigration's contribution to the economy and the British society.

Global migration makes an important contribution to the labour market in both high and low skilled occupations, with migrants currently accounting for 70% of Europe's workforce.

With a recent trend to vilify immigrants in public speech and attempts to pass discriminatory immigration laws, is it time to look at how minorities contribute to UK society? What can be done to get migration widely recognised as a gain and not a burden?
